Anchor chains and their accessories are allowed to operate only at loads below the proof load stated for each product. Load to be applied strictly along the product linear length.
Apart from anchor and mooring arrangements anchor chains can also be used to secure river and sea infrastructures requiring reliable fastening and positioning, and for manufacturing of towing appliances, bridles, lifting equipment, power shovel draft gear and slings.
An anchor chain is a product assembled from several intermediate chain shots, connected by means of Kenter-type links. Depending on its purpose, the chain can be furnished with anchor and first shots or a swivel shackle and a first shot. Anchor chains are available in the Arctic version and can be configured according to the customer’s design.
