The chain is used for manufacturing chain slings and other load handling appliances, including slings for offshore equipment. These chains have higher strength and lower weight than grade 3 chains. They can be used in Arctic conditions in accordance with IACS standards for W(-40) design.
Material
Special high-strength alloy steel.
Coating
NSW – non-painted, natural black.
IOL – preservation grease. The grease is intended to protect chains from corrosion during transportation and storage for up to 3 months.

Chain length L is specified at order. Standard chain lengths for ordering are 25 m, 50 m and 100 m.
Other lengths are subject to discussion case by case.
