Chain systems are used in rotary lime and cement kilns. Chain systems consisting of oval and round links function in different thermal zones of kilns, improve heat exchange between gas and raw material, increase production capacity and reduce fuel consumption. During the process slurry precipitates on the links, contacts gas and dries faster.
