Attention
Connecting links do not show equal strength in all directions and must be operated at loads directed along their axes (lengthwise).
The link is used in the anchor handling arrangements of ships and floating facilities in Arctic conditions under temperatures down to -50 °C. Chains and accessories in Arctic versions of grades 2W and 3W are made of special alloy steel with subsequent heat treatment.
Connecting links do not show equal strength in all directions and must be operated at loads directed along their axes (lengthwise).
