Attention
Upon agreement with the customer chains of categories R3 and R3S may be subject to impact bending test at temperature of -20 °C. Maximum hardness for category R4S — 330 HB, for category R5 — 340 HB.
The chain is used in the anchor/mooring systems of offshore rigs and jetties with anchors. Offshore chains are manufactured by flash welding and are subject to stringent requirements to their strength characteristics, operation life, as well as resistance to environmental factors. Chains may be produced in single lengths up to 2 000 m.
