Attention
To ensure long-term operation of the swivel it is not allowed to expose it to loads not in line with the rotation axis, and to disassemble and assemble it locally without further testing on special test rigs.
The swivel is used in the anchor handling arrangements of ships and floating facilities. It is one of the anchor shot components and is manufactured by hot stamping. The swivel corrects chain twisting and ensures its smooth stowing into the chain locker.
