Attention
We strongly advise you against using chains with increased hardness of curved portions in watery strata and in aggressive environments.
The chain is used in coal plough drives with a chain speed of not more than 0,5 m/s and as a traction element in armoured face conveyors and gate-end loaders.
We strongly advise you against using chains with increased hardness of curved portions in watery strata and in aggressive environments.
Material
Special high-strength alloy steel
Сoating
NSW – natural black
IOL – ISO 12924 preservation grease
TEC – TECTYL
Standard
Manufacturer’s standards meeting ISO 610-90 and completed with customer requirements.
Hardness
The chain tops DIN 22252 chains in strength but has lower plasticity. This is due to its hardness within 395-414 HB with a tensile strength of not less than 1000 MPa. These properties are obtained through special heat treatment process making it possible to achieve different hardness in straight and curved portions of links in order to increase chain abrasion resistance.
Straight portion hardness 345–385 НВ
Curved portion hardness 395–414 НВ
Tensile strength not less than 1000 МPа
