This heavy-duty flat type mining chain is used in armoured face conveyors as an extra-strong traction element. The chain is characterized by equal distribution of load in the contact point between two links, which makes it possible to increase chain operation life and to reduce its abrasion and elongation especially during start-up and commissioning.
Hardness
High-quality steel and heat treatment make it possible to obtain uniform hardness across the entire link surface within 345–385 HB with a tensile strength of not less than 800 MPa.
