The flight bar is used in armoured face conveyors with central twin chains and in loaders. The flight bar reduces conveyor drive load by 25% thus increasing its efficiency and helps to save its lifetime due to a smaller contact area with the pan line. The flight bar can also be installed without slacking the chain and does not require maintenance.
When installing flight bars onto the chain assembly tighten the bolts in accordance with the requirements specified in the regulatory document for this flight bar. Each tenth flight bar shall be additionally checked for tightening force compliance before assembling the conveyor.

The flight bar is produced according to the manufacturer’s documentation developed for any conveyor types and modifications with account of DIN 22259 requirements to design and operation conditions stated in the customer’s specifications.
