To ensure safe operation of the chain stopper make sure that the chain grade meets the stopper grade. Chain stoppers of higher grade can be used for anchor chains of lower grade.
The chain stopper is intended to secure studded and studless anchor chains in voyage. Port and starboard versions are available – for port and starboard anchor chains. River ships can use chain stoppers of size 11, 12,5, 16, 17,5 and 19 for anchorage.
