The chain stopper is intended to secure the anchor chain and prevent its inadvertent slackening during long-term anchorage of ships. Two types are available: for the port and starboard studded and studless bow anchor chains.

3 – alloy steel with additional heat treatment.
External coating
NP – non-painted
BIT – bitumen paint, 1 layer, ISO 12944-5
