To avoid intermediate shot twisting while in the anchor handling gear it should contain uneven number of links.
The intermediate shot is intended to be used in anchor chain configurations for yachts and ships, for the securing of landing stages, river and sea buoys, for the manufacturing of bridles and couplings. Standard length is 25 m or 27,5 m. 100 m shots are available upon request.
